1. In terms of shape, ordinary distribution boxes are made of iron, while explosion-proof distribution boxes are cast or processed by welding steel plates, with higher strength.
2. Structurally, the components in a regular distribution box can be arranged together for easy wiring, while the explosion-proof distribution box consists of several units, with each switch and electrical component isolated.
3. In terms of sealing, ordinary distribution boxes do not have very strict sealing requirements. Explosion proof distribution boxes have good sealing between the cover and the box body, and after strict inspection and qualification, they are issued a certificate of conformity by the organization and sold from the factory.
4. In terms of application, ordinary distribution boxes are generally used for civilian use and places without explosion-proof requirements. Explosion proof distribution boxes are mainly used in hazardous and explosive gas environments.
